Flag Day is a day for all Americans to celebrate and show respect for our flag, its designers and makers. Our flag is representative of our independence and our unity as a nation.....one nation, under God, indivisible. Our flag has a proud and glorious history. It was at the lead of every battle fought by Americans. Many people have died protecting it. As Americans, we have every right to be proud of our culture, our nation, and our flag. So raise the flag today and every day with pride!
There are different views about war and whether or not the United States should be engaged currently. While there is a difference of opinion, it is our prayer that God would lay it on the hearts of the people of this country, regardless of their standpoint on war, to be supportive of those who are currently serving in all branches of the military now, along with their families, as well as those who have served in the past. Sons and daughters, husbands and wives, fathers and mothers, sisters and brothers...they are the people of this country! Our prayer is that God would be glorified with the support given to the members of the military while they are deployed, when they return home, for their families, and those veterans who returned home long ago.
