Shades of Green® on WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort... is an Armed Forces Recreation Center (AFRC) located in Central Florida. The newly expanded Shades of Green is one of two AFRC's located in the continental U.S. The Shades of Green Resort is a true resort destination; offering the perfect mix of exceptional resort accommodations and friendly hospitality.

Shades of Green opened 1 February 1994 as the only AFRC in the continental U.S. The brainchild of forward thinking supporters of the Armed Forces, Shades of Green has blossomed into the finest R&R option for our servicemembers and their families serving this great nation.
